Tere sent us in a Pinstrosity that she and her coworker ended up with one day while crafting. Here's what they were trying for:

I love those. They look like cool whip heads to me for some reason.
"My coworker saw this pin on Pinterest and fell in love but after looking at the instructions decided that creating the base involved too many power tools to make it worthwhile. Then by a sheer stroke of luck while she was at a garage sale that weekend she found something that looked remarkably like the bases and snapped them up. The original pin did not include patterns and just told you to
freehand something that you liked. Since she doesn't have a sewing machine she bought the felt and cut out her shapes and passed them on to me to sew. We didn't think about stitching the mouth outline before sewing the two pieces together and she wanted to minimize the amount of sewing needed so she decided to use googly eyes and felt for the mouth. Unfortunately, since she isn't a sewer, when she cut out the shapes she wasn't really thinking that some of the area would be lost when it was sewn and the shapes didn't quite come out the way she envisioned they would."
