Info Post
Hui-Hui's current collection "Hibernation" is inspired by the concept of coziness. The items are described as "sculptures from wool and silk." Inspired by Princess Diana and classic British style, the designs are unusual and most importantly colorful.

The manner in which the florals burst through the smoky gray is beautiful, unexpected, and can be interpreted as a metaphor for the changing of seasons or perhaps something even deeper.

The upcoming winter 2011/2012 Hui-Hui collection is entitled "Rock Paper Scissors." The description of this collection is deep and thought-provoking, so I thought it better to simply post the actual words rather than paraphrase them.

"the city, as a patchwork of
structures and materials led to the shapes and prints of the
new collection.
the rigid forms of concrete blending together into wild landscapes.
starting on a flat grid,  constructing a complex entity by layering volumes and flat cut outs.
comparable with a round of
rock, paper, scissors:
which element wins over the square?
when is the purple beaten by the red?
where are the cut outs stronger- as a print or in the fabric?
and in the end the process turned out to  be as playful, random and organic as
urban archictecture grows"

One can also shop the brand's selection of scarves on their website.

Each scarf costs €185. The above designs and more can be purchased here.

To learn more about Hui-Hui, you can visit their website.
This is a different kind of designer than those I usually blog about on Girl Loves Color, because most of the clothing designs incorporate color but aren't focused on color itself. Let me know what you think!
