Wow! Has it been a week already? This week has just flown by for me how about you?
I have been working on crochet and knit baby things for my new grandson on the way, Bowen. He is due in November. I've also been working on several pieces of furniture I will be sharing with you soon, but the work has been going slow in this heat. My paint dries before it hits the furniture! Whew!
Plus, my Hubby and I took a whirlwind trip to Natchitoches, Louisiana to just get away and relax. We had a wonderful time visiting the shops on the river front and touring a plantation.
Now that I have you all caught up on my week...Oh, yes. Still no laptop it seems when I got that major virus about fifty more followed it into my computer! The Geeks are trying to save as many of my files as they can so its taking awhile.
I have had so much fun visiting all of your post and trying to leave messages. I type them but they just won't post! Sigh. Anyway here are my favorites for this week.
Kathy on "Life on Lakeshore Drive" blog shared her ASCP Emperor Red and gilt table redo. Gorgeous Kathy.
Heidi at "One Creative Mommy" shared how to make freezer paper art aprons and includes the free printable so you may make your own.
Lynn over at "Shabby Story" showed us how to take a barn door, a sconce, some vintage suitcases, a chair, and a darling rosebud pillow and create a lovely vignette! So pretty.
Sherry at "Decorating With Cents" inspired me to go buy some of those big rings I've been seeing in all the stores, add a swath of sheer fabric and make my dining room chairs look gorgeous. Thanks Sherry.
RaNae at "Ewe Creek Cottage" shared this yummy recipe for Spaghetti Squash Tomato Pasta Bake. I can't wait to give this recipe a try.
Thanks to everyone that linked up last week. I wish I could feature all of you (there wasn't a link I didn't like) but old Bess (that's what I'm calling my old cranky computer) is protesting and starting to act up. So, if you were featured be sure to grab a button.
